On a hot, hot day in....September

It was so hot today. We went to a friends house to play in the sprinkler and have cup cakes. And then came home and tried to take naps, but it was just too hot. Then we had dinner and took a walk and when we came back we had popsicles to cool off! What a fun day!

Isaac and the mouse

So there was this mouse outside in the back yard. I thought for sure it was dead and instead of trying to keep the boys away from it I decided to pick it up in a paper towel, say a few appropriate words then chuck it in the garbage. Wasn't I surprised when it started moving ever so slightly! Well, now I had a project on my hands. I put the mouse in a box ouside in the sun with a small piece of apple for a light snack should it decide that life is worth it afterall. Isaac is loving this. We keep checking on "mouse" to see if its okay. And we blow hugs and kisses a million times a minute. It is soooo tempting to touch that little guy!!!

I just checked on Mouse and he/she is gone!!! Hope he makes it out there in this big wide world. They grow up so fast... *sniff*
