Pictures!

"When you see a child in a high chair, just fed, shouting and throwing Jell-O and mashed potatoes around the room, you are party to delight -and you are also party to something that, outside of children, is exceedingly rare. In Western culture, the joyous shouting of children often irritates us because it interferes with our depression. That is why we have invented a term, hyperactivity, so that we can, in good conscience, sedate the spontaneous joy in many of our children." ~The Holy Longing
COLORING!!!!!
Isaac likes to color. He doesn't even eat the crayons!
Well, not most of the time...wink
Please note: Noah doesn't like the passifier!

But Isaac likes trying!

Mama and Isaac made a picture for Noah. Noah was not overly impressed, although happy as he normally is.

Isn't he the sweetest?!!

noah 2mo appt

mama isnt crazy! i took mr noah to the dr a little over a week ago bec i thot his voice sounded hoarse and weak. they sent me home saying, "well, we'll just say he has an upper respiratory infection" (so insurance wud cover). yest at his 2mo appt Margo found thrush. i did see white in his mouth but thought it was milk. it didn't look the same as when isaac had thrush. i asked if a symptom of this could be a scratchy cry or a voice sounding hoarse. she said, "yup". alas, i did know that something was amiss!

and little mr. noah isnt so little. he weighed in yesterday at 14lbs 8oz. thats the 95th percentile. hes only in the 50th percentile for length at 22 3/4". so he's doing really well.

we decided to wait until at least 2yrs to vaccinate. Isaac has only 6mo to go before we have to decide if we will give vaccinations at 2 yrs old. we are thinking tetanus for sure (he is eating dirt these days) and we may do that at his 18mo. appt.

here in maine (elsewhere too???) they give kids a book at each of their well child visits. noah got a colors book yesterday. smile.

otherwise things are going well here for the most part. i will be starting work on Sept 11th (spooky) and will be working 5days in a two week period. the school is on a blue/white schedule and i will be doing white days. so everyother day is a white day. i will be interpreting for a physics class among other things. yikes. i guess i will be learning right along with them. i don't know much about physics but i think i will like it.

until then i am manifesting $5,000 before sept 11.

A Tribute to Usana Vitamins

These are pictures of my breast milk expressed at different times. The one on the right is the first milk that was expressed after taking vitamins. The one on the left is "regular" breast milk. When I was in New Mexico and bringing in expressed milk for Isaac the nurses asked me if I was a vegetarian....I guess usually only vegitarian's milk was this green
By the way, I take mostly Usana vitamins! Sorry Bruce!

And this is Isaac drinking that wonderful vitamin-rich breast milk. He found a left over bottle (not left for too long...don't freak out) of Noah's after Mommy was gone to an interpreting event, and chugged it right down. In fact the first thing he said after he took a swig was, and I quote, "Mmmmmmmmmmmm!" :)
